If you have a job, your workplace can have free Deaf Awareness Training. This training helps inform your colleagues about Deaf/HoH culture and how to communicate with you better.

Do you want to learn Auslan?

We have Auslan classes all over Perth and WA. These classes are designed to make life accessible and to teach you everything from Auslan basics through to complex grammar and structure.

Our Auslan classes are for everybody. We’ve designed them to be accessible by everyone, all over Perth, because we all have different reasons for wanting to learn Auslan. Perhaps you want to communicate with a friend at school, or you want people in your family to learn so you can sign with them. Access Plus is here to help everyone learn Auslan and engage with the 1 in 6 Deaf/HoH Australians.

Our Community Services team is made up of dozens of dedicated support workers, just like Luke. Every day our team go out into the community to help break down the communication barriers which frustrate Deaf/HoH Australians. We understand too that you have individual goals that you want to reach, and our support workers are here to help you reach your goals how you want.
