What is NDIS Support & Assistance at access plus?

Our NDIS Support and Assistance Team have been guiding people through their NDIS journeys since 2016. NDIS Support and Assistance fall under the Access My NDIS department at Access Plus, and the entire W.A NDIS Support and Assistance Team is here to help you live independently and receive the supports and information you need.

Working alongside people with a disability and their support networks has always been an important part of what we do at Access Plus. We place access for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at the centre of everything we do because we want to foster a community of communication without limits for everyone in WA. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is designed to give you choice and control over the supports you receive. We’re a registered NDIS provider, but our NDIS Support and Assistance Team is here to guide you through your NDIS journey to get the best possible plan and help connect you with services which truly add value to your life.

Access Plus WA Deaf charges are as per the price limits within the NDIS Support Catalogue for all supports.

How can NDIS support & Assistance help me?

Preplanning Appointments

Access Plus is here to help guide you through the NDIS. Before you develop your NDIS plan, we’ll sit down with you and together we can help you figure out what you want to get from your NDIS plan. We can help prepare you to figure out your goals and what supports you need to reach these goals.

Adovocacy during planning 

As you go through your NDIS journey, it’s important you have your wants and needs communicated and understood. We will help you through your NDIS journey to make sure the plan you get is what you need to reach your goals. We will stay with you to help develop your plan and future supports.

Information & referral 

The transition to the NDIS can be daunting but we’re here to make your NDIS journey as easy as possible. Our dedicated Information and Referral Officers are here to help you find the right services for you. Our team are mindful of Deaf/HoH culture and what services are best for our community.

Implementing your plan

We’re here to help you reach your goals once you have your plan! It’s important your plan is managed properly to make sure you’re on the right path to reaching your goals. We can help you manage your plan and find good supports. At Access Plus, we always place access at the centre of everything we do.
